Samsung Galaxy Star S7262 Pro users who missed the OTA update notification or can not access the update via Samsung Kies, now can download and install it manually using the same step-by - step guide.

1. Install  the USB Driver  for Samsung Galaxy Pro Star on the computer.

2. Enable USB Debugging mode on the phone by navigating to Settings >> Developer Options.

3. Create a backup of all your important data before following the guidelines.

4. The Galaxy Star Pro must open a plant and not locked to a specific operator all.

5. Make sure the phone battery is charged more than 80 percent.

6. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware DXUANA3 Pro is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy Star (GT - S7262). Applying this to every one variant of the power brick. Verify the model number of the Star Galaxy Pro by navigating to Settings >> About Phone.

Steps to Update Galaxy Star Pro S7262 with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Firmware DXUANA3

• Firmware extract the zip file using WinRAR / 7-Zip / WinZip or other digging tools, you will get tar.md5 files and some other files (optional). ,
• Extract the Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v3.07.exe along with some other files.
• Turn off the Galaxy Pro Star.
• Boot the device into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down, Home and power buttons together until the construction Android robot icon with a warning triangle appears on the screen. Now press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
• Odin run on the computer as Administrator.
• Connect the Galaxy Star Pro to a computer using a USB cable while it is in Download Mode. Wait until Odin detects the device. When the device is connected successfully, the ID: COM boxes will turn into a light blue with the COM port number. In addition, managed to connect will be presented with a message saying Added.
• Select the following files from the extracted folder in Odin firmware S7262DXUANA3:

1. Click the PDA button and select the file tar.md5. ,
2. Click the Phone button and select the file with MODEM in its name. Ignore if no such file.
3. Click the button and select the file with CSC CSC in its name. Ignore if no such file.
4. Click the PIT button and choose the file pit. , Ignore if no such file.

• In ODIN, enable Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time check box. Also, make sure the check box Re - Partition selected only if the files pit. Selected in the previous step.
• Make sure all suggested in Step 7 and 8 Steps taken correctly. Then press the Start button to start the installation process.
• After the installation is complete, your phone will restart and soon you will see the PASS message with a green background at the left-most box at the very top of Odin. Now you can unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from the computer.

Samsung Galaxy Star Pro S7262 should now be updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware DXUANA3 official. Head to Settings >> About Phone to verify the software version running on the device.
